This event will kick off our String of Pearls week. We will hear from a variety of people involved in supporting children from a community perspective- topics include ASD, ADHD, the Looked After Child and the HCP contribution to the adoption process, Bladder and Bowel Continence Issues inc constipation A provisional plan for the morning: 9.30- 9.35am Introduction 9.35- 10.10am ASD - Dr. Tor Thurston 10.10-10.45am ADHD - Dr Beata Davison (GHT) paediatric ADHD nurse specialist Holly Warner 10.45-11.15am break 11.15- 11.50am Discussion around looked after children and the HCP contribution to the adoption process. Pam Francis (CNS) Dr Amanda Cundy 11.50- 12.25pm bowel/ bladder team- Constipation management and Nocturnal Enuresis 12.25-12.30pm questions and feedback forms

AIM:
To have an overview Community Paediatrics in Gloucestershire

LO:
1. To identify features of ASD and ADHD in children (Tor, Beata, Holly)
2. To identify referral pathways for ASD and ADHD (Tor, Beata, Holly)
3. To discuss the Children in Care Service in Gloucestershire and the process of adoption (Amanda, Pam)
4. To review the Gloucestershire Continence and Constipation pathway (Davina)
