SOP Interpreting Haematology Results in Primary Care PM

By the end of this session, learners will be able to:
o Interpret SFLC and paraprotein results, and recognise when MGUS monitoring findings are concerning.
o Identify causes, initial investigations, and referral thresholds for polycythaemia and thrombocytosis.
o Assess unprovoked thrombosis, including appropriate investigation and anticoagulation planning.
o Evaluate anaemia and thrombocytopenia in primary care.
o Recognise features of CLL and understand when specialist referral is indicated.
